It's "Hottie" time in St. George

I received an email from Lincoln Shurtz (Utah League of Cities and Towns)last week about a blog I should visit. I logged on and to my horror, my picture was on the Elected Hotties website - and no less, in a competition with some other city councilwomen from around the state that were truly hot and a WHOLE lot younger than me! sheesh. But in the end, I held my own against those beautiful smooth faces. Let's hear it for the grannies --- yea! FYI - 2nd place

We've had our daughter Jennie's kids with us for the past 2 weeks; I am almost used to the chaos and may keep them for another week. To get wet, we've been swimming out back, gone to the the St. George Town Square & Hidden Valley Park. Jackson has been to scouts, Allie to Achievement Day, Aspen to YW. Me and Hannah and Sophia are just hanging and they play. They're all loving the computer time they get (sorry momma!), the Wii Fit and Wii Sports. We are sugaring them up and they're eating stuff Jennie would not be happy with. heheh. That's what grandparents get to do to get even with those teenage years.

Paul is at Brian Head for Thunder on the Mountain, a Harley ride from BH to Bryce Canyon. Last year we had Ash & Coby, Derek & Stevie with us. Guess this year it'll have to be a hairy leg ride.

Ride to live, honey!
